Quick summary of your career in Print to-date

Started 16 years ago in Internal Sales and Marketing, then moved to Field sales role -starting in UK/eire and then moving into European role.  Worked previously with Lifescience specific companies in harsh environment labelling solutions, now moved into a role which encompasses AIDC, Security, Operational and promotional print as well as general print.

What you love about your job and the industry

My role allows me to be a creative thinker for lots of different organisations and industries, the knowledge I’ve built up can be used to advise on the best options and the most suitable print routes. Printing is also a very innovative sector, specifically at the moment looking at greener solutions and circular economies.  I get to meet and consult with so many great people in different roles and situations and help to solve problems which are with very quantifiable solutions.

Why should people consider a career in the print industry

It’s an exciting industry to be involved in, with lots of different options for career routes.  You get to work with different organisations in terms of size, structure, location, industry and no two days are ever the same – as well as different product ranges from stationery to packaging
