Investing in the future at Hague

Here at Hague we are passionate about supporting people at the earliest stage of their career and we look to develop them as part of our 100 strong happy, motivated, and skilled team.

As part of our dedication towards this, recently we have welcomed several new apprentices to join various departments across the company.

We recognise the importance of apprenticeships and value the benefits that these schemes bring to both the individual and our business. We welcome creative thinkers, who are eager to learn and looking to develop a tailored skillset as well as wanting to gain valuable professional and personal experience in a fast paced and exciting business.

So, without further ado, let us introduce some of the apprentices within our team!

KingaBusiness Administrative at our Head Office working towards gaining her Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

Originally completing an Air Cabin Crew qualification, Kinga’s career has led her down a different path in recent years.

I applied for the Business Administration role as I am very organised and eager to learn – and there is a lot to learn! In my experience with Hague so far, I have had a wide variety of tasks to complete and they all make me learn something about myself providing opportunity to better my skills.’

Kinga also enjoys baking in her spare time and we can’t wait to try her sweet treats sometime soon.

Anna – Marketing Assistant at our Head Office working towards gaining her Level 3 Digital Marketing qualification.

A recent graduate from the University of Leeds, Anna has studied creative writing for the past 6 years.

My passion for content creation and writing initially led me to discover my current Digital Marketing apprenticeship role. So far, I have gained valuable knowledge about the marketing industry as well as an understanding of coding, data analysis and advertising.

I love the variety of my role. At Hague, I have already been very hands on with various campaigns, content creation and website management tasks.’

During lockdown, Anna became a first-time pet owner to two baby guinea pigs. Openly animal obsessed, Anna now owns a total of eight guinea pigs and two rabbits.

Mark Support Engineer at our Reading office currently working towards gaining a degree level qualification in Digital Technology Solutions.

With past experience in specialised IT administration, Mark is now in the last year of his degree apprenticeship and is looking forward to hopefully applying his new skills and becoming a Developer at Hague in the near future.

The thing I enjoy the most about working within the Hague Group is that I can grow and improve my current skills as well as develop new ones. I work on a range of tasks and modules (one of which is programming that I enjoy the most) which make it very interesting. The entire team I am working with is also very supportive and very willing to help me.’

Apart from IT, Mark also has a passion for music and plays the piano as well as composing his own pieces.

As final thoughts, Nathan Wain, Group Director of Hague, shares;

Apprentices are part of the future of our business and make a real difference to Hague. As a successful SME, we have been running an apprenticeship programme for the last few years. Apprentices not only help to reduce a particular skills shortage, but bring fresh ideas, youthful enthusiasm and energy to the work place.’
